Dr. Stacey Peralta, DrPH, MS, MLS(ASCP)^CM, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Silicon Valley Laboratory Consulting LLC, a laboratory consulting firm dedicated to helping clinical and biotech laboratories achieve regulatory excellence, operational efficiency, and the highest standards of quality and patient care.

With more than 20 years of combined experience spanning clinical diagnostics, biotechnology, and public health, Dr. Peralta has built a distinguished career serving in both bench-level and supervisory positions as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) and biotechnology researcher. Her diverse background provides clients with practical, real-world expertise in laboratory operations while maintaining a strong focus on regulatory compliance, quality management, and continuous improvement.

Dr. Peralta previously served as an Examiner with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Laboratory Field Services (LFS), where she gained extensive experience evaluating laboratory compliance with state and federal regulations. This regulatory perspective enables her to effectively guide laboratories through CLIA compliance, accreditation readiness, corrective action planning, and successful regulatory inspections.

Throughout her career, Dr. Peralta has led and supported numerous laboratory initiatives involving CLIA compliance, CAP accreditation, laboratory validation and verification studies, quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), laboratory operations, regulatory inspections, personnel competency assessment, staff education, and leadership development. She is recognized for helping laboratories implement sustainable quality systems that improve compliance, efficiency, and patient safety.

In addition to her laboratory leadership, Dr. Peralta served as a university instructor for 12 years, teaching biological sciences and CLS courses. Her passion for education and mentorship has helped prepare and develop the next generation of laboratory professionals while fostering excellence in laboratory practice and professional leadership.

Dr. Peralta earned her Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) with a concentration in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of South Florida (USF). She also holds a Master of Science degree and maintains her ASCP certification. Committed to remaining actively engaged in patient care, she continues to maintain her bench-level CLS skills by working in a community hospital while simultaneously advising laboratories as a laboratory consultant.

As CEO of Silicon Valley Laboratory Consulting LLC, Dr. Peralta combines regulatory insight, technical expertise, and operational leadership to partner with hospitals, independent laboratories, physician office laboratories, and biotechnology organizations. Her mission is to help laboratories strengthen compliance programs, improve operational performance, prepare for inspections and accreditation, develop effective quality management systems, and build high-performing laboratory teams.
